High Court dismisses Jay Jay’s petition against State
THE Lusaka High Court has dismissed a petition by Emmanuel Jay Banda, who has been seeking damages for abduction against the State, Levy Ngoma, Clayson Hamasaka, and Trevor Mwiinde.
Judge Mwape Bowa dismissed the petition on want of prosecution.
The petition was struck off the active cause list on August 30, 2024, with the liberty to restore. On September 10, 2024, Banda, through Makebi Zulu Advocates filed an application for the case to be restored, which was heard ex-parte on September 23, 2024.
