FIRED IG THANKS PRESIDENT HICHILEMA
FORMER Inspector General of Police Lemmy Kajoba has thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for giving him an opportunity to serve the Republic of Zambia as Inspector General of Police.
Kajoba tells Byta FM Zambia that he is grateful for the confidence and trust that Hichilema placed in him to lead the Zambia Police Service.
He says the President’s vision of a safer and more secure Zambia, free of violence and crime was inspirational not only to him but to other Police officers as well.
Kajoba says Hichilema’s guidance was instrumental in ensuring that the Zambia Police fulfils its core mandate of maintaining Law and Order and preservation of life and internal security.
The former IG has since wished his successor Graphel Musamba and all the Police officers in rank and file and their families God’s blessings as they carry out their duties.
