EMMANUEL BANDA NEVER NAMED HIS ABDUCTORS TO POLICE – MWIIMBU
By Darius Choonya
Government says it will be subjudice to inform the nation on their preliminary findings in relation to the abduction of Petauke Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda.
Speaking during a press briefing, Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu said this is because of an active case before court where Mr. Banda has sued the state.
Mr. Mwiimbu however says they are many coincidences in the matter wondering about the ‘good Samaritan’ who informed the police of the abduction of Mr. Banda.
He further says as far as the police are concerned; no one was named as abductors in a statement that was recorded by Mr. Banda.
