EDGAR LUNGU 0 vs 9 SPEAKER as PARLIAMENT EXPELS the 9 UKWA PF MPs EXPELLED on 6-DEC 2023 by PF President MILES SAMPA,
The so called TOP NOTCH LAWYER, EDGAR LUNGU, seems to be very ignorant of the Law.
EDGAR LUNGU used LACUNAS and BAD LEGAL PRECEDENTS to grab POWER after MICHAEL CHILUFYA SATA died, and to cling on to the PF and State Presidency.
And MILES BWALYA SAMPA used the same LACUNAS and BAD LEGAL PRECEDENTS, to wrestle the PATRIOTIC FRONT (PF) from EDGAR LUNGU and his fellow MASQUERADERS like GIVEN LUBINDA, NIXON CHILANGWA, EMMANUEL MWAMBA, RAPHAEL NAKACHINDA, and Others.
So, EDGAR LUNGU UKWA FACTION then WASTED their time with SENSELESS COURT SUITS, against MILES SAMPA PF FACTION, even when everyone was advising their Lawyers: MAKEBI ZULU and JOHN SANGWA, that UKWA PF had absolutely NO LOCI-STANDI against MILES SAMPA’s PF Presidency, die to the very EVIL LACUNAS and BAD LEGAL PRECDDENTS that EDGAR LUNGU left, in their 10 WASTED YEARS of PF DICTATORIAL and RIGGING RULE. PA
So, on December 6th 2023, MILES SAMPA EXPELLED 9 UKWA PF MPs, for being too pro-LUNGU, and he even informed the SPEAKER to ensue with declaration of the 9 SEATS as VACANT, and even to DIRECT the ECZ to HOLD BY-ELECTIONS.
But, UKWA PF interdicted, via INJUCTION, including a flurry of duplicated court cases, many of which were thrown out, one after the other.
And of particular interest, on the 25th June 2024, the CONCOURT Case where UKWA PF MPs, NIXON CHILANGWA and MUSONDA MPAKATA, had sued to question the legality of PF President MILES SAMPA removing PF LEADERS & WHIP in Parliament, BRIAN MUNDUBILE and STEPHEN KAMPYONGO, and replaced them with ROBERT CHABINGA and ANTHONY MUMBA.
The COURT Ruled that NO COURT nor SPEAKER had the Right to impose on the internal decisions of any Political Party, and that only the Party themselves could make Decisions, as their respective Constitutions dictated, provided that the Leadership in charge was bona fide and legitimate.
And since according to the REGISTRAR of SOCIETIES, MILES SAMPA is the bona fide PF PRESIDENT, until a Court of Law could determine otherwise, hence ALL HIS DECISIONS are very binding, as per PRECEDENTS set by EDGAR LUNGU.
So realizing that they had reached a dead-end as regards the wrestling back of the PF from MILES SAMPA, the UKWA PF went into PANIC MODE, and made EDGAR LUNGU start BEGGING MILES SAMPA for a possible reunion and out of court negotiated leadership settlement.
MILES SAMPA was allegedly even BRIBED MILLIONS of DOLLARS, which apparently culminated in MILES SAMPA writing a Letter, on 27th June 2024, to the SPEAKER, that he was rescinding his 6th December 2023 Letter of EXPELLING 9 UKWA PF MPs, and Instructions to PARLIAMENT and the ECZ to declare their SEATS vacant, even calling for By Elections.
The UKWA PF led by EDGAR LUNGU even WENT TO TOWN ULULATING how they had DRIBBLED the NEWDAWN Government, especially President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, whom they even continued taking MEMES and SWIPES, dissing him as a clueless Politician.
But little did the UKWA PF know that, the 25th June 2025 CONCOURT RULING, effectively meant the 6th December 2023 MILES SAMPA EXPULSIONS INSTRUCTIONS, were AUTOMATICALLY ENFORCEABLE, and Retraction on 27 June 2024, some 6 months later, was NULL & VOID.

The Speaker of the National Assembly has declared the nine seats of Members of Parliament from the Patriotic Front that recently lost their case in the Constitutional Court challenging their expulsion by Miles Sampa.
Those affected are:
1. RONALD K. CHITOTELA (Pambashe)
2. NICKSON CHILANGWA ( Kawambwa),
3. CHRISTOPHER KANGOMBE (Kamfinsa),
4. REMEMBER C. MUTALE ( Chitambo),
5. BRIAN MUNDUBILE ( Mporokoso),
6. STEPHEN KAMPYONGO (Shiwangandu),
7. MULENGA FUBE
(Chilubi)
8. MUTOTWE KAFWAYA
(Lunte)
and
9. MUSONDA MPAKATA
(Lupososhi)
Speaker has refused to recognize the letter written by MILES SAMPA renouncing the expulsion stating that MORGAN NG’ONA Ng’ona, the so-called Secretary General should have written the letter of renunciation to the SPEAKER.
The SPEAKER has also refused information that shows a process was filed in the Constitutional Court against the earlier judgement.
