The Patriotic Front (PF) has vowed that mass of its supporters and members will today march to the Supreme Court grounds in a call of solidarity to former President Edgar Lungu who will be appearing before the Constitutional Court where a ruling for the preliminary issues on his eligibility to contest future presidential elections.
And State Counsel Sakwiba Sikota has stated that threats by government that it will deal with former President Lungu’s supporters at the court was an act of desperation by the UPND regime which has started interfering with the independence of the courts.
Raphael Nakacinda has described the threat by Jack Mwiimbu, the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security that State police shall seriously deal with all those who would besiege the Supreme Court grounds as nonsensical and uncalled for.
