CDF POSITIVELY IMPACTING CHINGOLA – HON MATAMBO
Copperbelt Province Minister Hon Elisha Matambo was today in Chingola where he officially handed over several projects funded using CDF.
Hon Matambo thanked Republican President Mr Hakainde Hichilema for making sure funds were brought to local people to decide social projects that they needed.
The Copperbelt Minister said this when he handed over Derick Chilundika Police Post in Nchanga Constituency named after the current MP as the locals demanded that the Police Post needed to be named after him due to his hard work.
“CDF is not just a game changer but positively impacting communities in Zambia and changing lives” Hon Matambo said as he appreciated youths for using CDF loan to start a funeral services company in Nchanga Constituency.
In Chingola Constituency, Hon Matambo hosted the awards event where Hon Chipoka Mulenga was awarding best performing pupils in his Constituency in the last exams for grades 7s and 9s. The Copperbelt Minister said government will continue providing free Education to all children and free skills developments to all vulnerables as education is the best equalizer.
Hon Matambo said over 600,000 children were not in school on the Copperbelt before free Education as parents could not manage to pay school fees. The Minister thanked Republican President Mr Hakainde Hichilema for free Education policy as now over 600,000 vulnerable pupils are now in school and thousands receiving free skills trainings on the Copperbelt.
The Copperbelt Minister also thanked Nchanga Constituency MP Hon Derick Chilundika for his hard work in the Constituency together with his Councilors and civil servants.
Several projects funded by CDF have been handed over to the communities for use today by Copperbelt Minister Hon Elisha Matambo in Chingola’s Nchanga Constituency.
