CF OFFICIAL ATTACKED, ONE K!DNAPPED, VEHICLE STOLEN IN IYAYA WARD OF MUNGWI DISTRICT BY UPND CADRES

A CF official, Mr. Mwila has been injured by UPND cadres using a metal bar whilst addressing a campaign meeting in iyaya ward.
A provincial official has been kidnapped and the cadres driven off with the CF vehicle being used in the same campaigns.
CF is being supported by the United Kwacha Alliance, UKA in the iyaya ward by-elections slated for 19th November, 2024.
The CF Leadership has reported the assault, kidnapping and stealing of the vehicle to the police in the district who have stated that the ward is very far for them to intervene.
The UPND cadres are demanding for K1,000 as ransom to release the vehicle and the kidnapped official.
