Mporokoso Member of Parliament Hon Brian Mundubile has rubbished reports linking him to the rulling party.
Hon Mundubile said he is a strong member of the PF and will remain loyal to the Party and the leadership of President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
He was reacting to a Propaganda publication by a Rogue Facebook Page Koswe with the allegations posted “Brian Mundubile has just phoned PFs Chabinga, Chitalu Chilufya, Indicating readiness to Join HH’s UPND”.
Hon Mundubile has since denied these assertions describing them as untrue and driven by ill intent.
He said he is not interested in seeking favors from the UPND like others who escort them to the Airport.
“Even if things are hard, I am loyal to Patriotic Front Party, I am loyal to President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
I am not interested in fattening my pockets. We the PF want to liberate the Zambian people from the sufferings they have been subjected to under the current Government,” he said.
And Hon Mundubile has urged some politicians to play their role while in opposition as opposed to always wanting to be associated with the rulling party whenever government changes.
“We were in the rulling party, now we in opposition. The job that I must do is that of the opposition. We can’t be going wherever there is a rulling party. You always want to be in the rulling party. Multi party democracy entails that there will be a ruling and opposition political parties. The Job we must do is to save our Zambian people from these harsh conditions under this Government,” he said.
