Kennedy Mweene, Zambia’s legendary goalkeeper, made his name known in African football history by becoming the ONLY goalkeeper to score in an AFCON tournament! In 2013, he scored Zambia’s equalizer against Nigeria in a 1-1 draw.
121 caps for Zambia’s national team, AFCON medal (2012 winner), 4 Zambia Super League titles, 2 ABSA Premiership titles, and the 2016 CAF Champions League title.
He’s a 2012 AFCON Golden Glove winner, 2012 Zambia Sports Personality of the Year, and 2016 CAF Champions League Best Goalkeeper.
