HH AND UPND GOVERNMENT MUST BE STOPPED

In 2021 August 11 per our constitutional requirements as a country we held the general elections where a number of political parties participated and UPND was amongst the political parties which participated and they presented their manifesto .
President Hakainde Hichilema told the whole world and the 20 million Zambians the things he is going to do when he is voted into office. Here are the things that President HH promised the Zambian people.
1. President Hakainde Hichilema told the Zambian people that when he’s sworn-in at 10:00hrs by 14:00hrs the kwacha will appreciate against the dollar
2. President HH and UPND told the Zambian people that when voted into government he will help the Zambian economy to stabilize. He has business partners who are going to inject 20 billion U.S dollars into the zambian economy.
3. There will be no load shedding because he will implement the UAE (Dubai) way of generating electricity using the different methods without relying on hydro electricity.
4. There will be no police brutality and interference by politicians.
5. There will be no illegal detention the justice system will be independent , there will be no selective justice.
6. He promised to fight Corruption in all Government Institutions.
8. He promised merit based appointments into the civil service and not appointment based on one’s tribe or political affiliation.
9. He promised the people on the Copperbelt that KCM will not be given back Vedanta.
10. Whilst in Opposition, President HH said there will be no unnecessary by-elections because they are a drain on the treasury.
11. He promised cheap fuel by removing middlemen in the procurement process.
12. He promised to reduce the price of mealie meal from K120 to K50 per bag.
13. He Promised to reduce the price fertilizer from K650 to K250 per bag.
14. He said there will be no unnecessary traveling by the Executive and all government officials in his administration.
15. He promised to create an enabling environment for SMEs
16. He promised to create jobs for the youths who voted for him in numbers
This was the manifesto President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND presented to the whole world and the Zambian people, the Zambian people approved this as the best manifesto compared to the ruling government then, the Patriotic Front hence they were voted into Government.
Let’s analyze this manifesto without objectively without any political bias, tribe or region. Has the New Dawn government delivered any of these promises? 15 days from now they will be clocking 3 years in Government.
Today, Zambia is a laughing stock not just in the region the whole world, we have got the most corrupt Government since Independence.
Today, Zambia has got the worst Parliament. For the first time in the history of this country people can’t trust the judicial system because of alleged interference by the executive. The Governance system in this country has collapsed because of appointing political cadres in key and sensitive government institutions. Well known UPND cadres are now in charge of key government institutions.
Today, Zambia has the worst police service. Political opponents are being arrested and detained. People are going to jail without carrying out thorough investigations. President HH promised that all suspects would be taken to court within 48hrs as required by law. Now the country is even more divided because of failure to keep these promises.
Today, no opposition polical party can go and hold a meeting in Southern Province without intimidation from UPND cadres. The province has literally been barricaded against other parties .
The police Brutality has even surpassed what we witnessed during the time of PF. Citizens are now being abducted and tortured.
The Democratic space and Freedom of expression no longer exists. People are starting to associate according to their tribe and region were they come from, which has never happened since independence.
The reason we have this problem is because of the foundation President Hakainde Hichilema built for himself in order to ascend to the Leadership of UPND after the founding leader Mr Anderson Mazoka (MHSRIP) died. No matter how much Mr Hakainde Hichilema will try to pretend or defend himself. The tribal tag will never go away because he used it to ascend to the Leadership of the UPND which was spearheaded by Mr Ackson Senjani when he said only a Tonga shall replace Anderson Mazoka. Upto date they have never explained what they meant because UPND was preparing to Govern the country which has 73 ethnic groupings or Languages. Non of the leaders in UPND can explain to the Zambian people what they meant,these are the results you are seeing in the country.
The Zambian people voted for HH and UPND to correct the wrong things which had been done from the past, if it was done during Kaunda’s Government it was supposed to be corrected ,if it was done during Chiluba’s Government it was supposed to be corrected, if it was done during Mwanawasa’s Government it was supposed to be corrected ,if it was done in Rupiah’s Government it was supposed to be corrected ,if it was done during Sata’s Government it was supposed to be corrected, if it was done during Lungu’s Government it was supposed to be corrected.
The reason the 2.8million Zambians voted for him is to correct the wrong things.
The reason why Preaident Hakainde Hichilema couldn’t succeed in 5 attempts for Preaidential elections is because he was using tribe and the region, he couldn’t succeed until he realized that he has to come with a National Agenda
When he presented the Manifesto, the Zambian people thought it was a national Agenda that’s why in 2021 he was voted into Government were he even shared almost half of the votes in the region where the incumbent then, President lungu comes from.
In the end, Zambian people today are regretting. Today people are going to bed on an empty stomach, no meaningful employment has been created, there is no electricity, citizens are experiencing over 12hrs of load-shedding, Fuel is expensive, the economy is bitting for the majority of the Zambians, farmers cannot afford the inputs, the governance system has collapsed .
What we witnessed yesterday in Luapula Province during the umtuomboko traditional ceremony of the people of Luapula province was just a tip of the ice berg because people of that region are aggrieved due to lack of justice. They feel their people are being victimized.
This is sending a very strong signal to the people who are managing the Government, if they don’t realize what is important Zambia will never be a better place to live that’s why 2026 August 11 will be a judgment day for Mr Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND.
