MATERO ASPIRANT DICKSON JERE REJECTED BY UPND GRASSROOT
UPND grassroot members have resoundingly rejected Dickson Jere to be anywhere near President Hakainde Hichilema and the party. There has been strong rumors suggesting Jere is trying to find room in the ruling party and possibly get an adoption as Matero candidate in 2026. The Aspirants has learnt from within UPND that members of the ruling party in Matero specifically have outrightly rejected Jere. Of late Jere has been seen writing positive articles for HH and UPND, a move many suspect amounts to professional bootlicking.
For example, a prominent UPND diaspora defender of HH, Barbara Musamba Chama has told Jere not to be anywhere near HH because he is known as PF member.
Jere attempted to get adopted by PF in 2021. He wasn’t picked.
