EMMANUEL JAY BANDA ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED THEFT OR AGGRAVATED ROBBERY?
====================
The statement below issued by Zambia Police clearly shows that the charges against Jay Jay are vindictive, fake and just intended to punish him as long as is possible.
A person commits armed robbery by stealing property from someone else using violence or intimidation, and while carrying a dangerous weapon. Using a dangerous weapon constitutes an aggravating factor, which makes the crime more serious than simple robbery, which doesn’t involve a weapon.
When you read the statement below, items alleged to have been stolen are specifically mentioned. Ironically, no dangerous weapon used to steal is specified! The deliberate omission of the dangerous weapon used clearly exposes the motive for the arrest and detention. SMH!
