A BISHOP OF INTERNATIONAL REPUTE IN A ZAMBIAN MAXIMUM PRISON AS A POLITICAL PRISONER: My Brother Was Abducted, Charged With Treason & Thrown In A Maximum Prison

… Bishop Trevor Mwamba Is Innocent

… He Is A Political Prisoner In A Maximum Prison Merely By Association

Sister of Bishop Trevor Mwamba, Freda Brazle, says her elder brother is enduring injustice at the hands of Zambian authorities after being thrown into a maximum prison in Kabwe, Zambia.

Bishop Mwamba is among 18 Zambians charged with treason alongside opposition leader Brian Mundubile.

“I found it hard to believe or accept that “he is in good spirits” until today, when I had lunch with my former boss, who is also a great friend.

“She told me that he’s a man connected to God, and therefore his spiritual strength is more powerful than the physical place that he’s in.

“Her message made sense to me, and now I know why he is really in good spirits,” she states.

It’s been 3 weeks since Bishop Trevor Mwamba was abducted.

After being charged with treason, he is a political prisoner at Mukobeko Maximum Prison in Kabwe. Let that sink in!

Our entire family is affected. If you personally know me or our family, you know that Bishop Mwamba is innocent.

We appreciate all those who have seen him in jail or prison. They are consistently reporting back that “he’s in good spirits.”

Since his abduction and arrest, he holds prayers for his cellmates and continues to pray for everyone around him.

I have been struggling with this injustice that he’s enduring.

I found it hard to believe or accept that “he is in good spirits” until today, when I had lunch with my former boss, who is also a great friend. She told me that he’s a man connected to God, and therefore his spiritual strength is more powerful than the physical place that he’s in. Her message made sense to me, and now I know why he is really in good spirits.

He’s connecting with God on another level of spirituality.

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Bishop Mwamba is living this verse — pressed, but not crushed. And his spirit remains untouched.

For all the calls, texts, prayers, and support that our family has received, we are grateful.

Personally, I appeal to the authorities to expeditiously act in accordance with the rule of law and release all the innocent detainees or present to us the evidence that Bishop Mwamba is Militia.
