YVONNE MUTEPUKA CHIBIYA ELECTED AS MEMBER OF AUABC

The 41st Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union has unanimously elected Ms. Yvonne Mutepuka Chibiya as member of the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption (AUABC).
Mrs. Chibiya, who is an accomplished Governance, Ethics and Economic Justice practitioner, received 43 votes out of as many Member States that voted.
Others elected to the council are Mr. Jean Claude Bizmana BURUNDI, Mr. Tsiry Harivelo Razafimandimby MADAGASCAR and Mr. Pascoal Antonio Joakim ANGOLA,Mr. Seynabou Ndiaye Diakhate of SENEGAL and Mr. Kwame Edem Senanu GHANA. Others are Ms. Tijilane Rose Chizumila MALAWI and Ms. Chabika Benson Saoula ALGERIA.
Aside from the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption, the Executive Council elected two judges to the African Court on Human and People’s Rights and nominated three judges to the Administrative Tribunal of the African Union.
