TENSION IN LUSAKA MARKETS AS ALLEGED CADRES TARGET TRADERS

Reports from Lusaka indicate that suspected Tonse Alliance cadres have allegedly begun taking over trading spaces at some markets and bus stations after reportedly being told that Brian Mundubile had declared himself the winner of the election.



Women traders are reportedly fleeing their trading spaces, leaving their tomatoes and other goods behind..



There are also reports that people wearing red clothing are being targeted and beaten, although these reports have not yet been independently verified.



The situation remains tense as residents and traders call for security agencies to intervene and protect citizens.
