They wanted to embarrass him.
A sitting Head of State even called the judgment “fantastic.”
On 25th January 2025, he quietly left the country to seek medical treatment.
No one checked on him. Not once. While he was alone in a foreign land.
On 5th June 2025, the man died.
To this day, the nation has not officially announced his death.
Only his daughter has.
The public broadcaster has not aired a single tribute in his memory.
Ruling party cadres have poured out insults.
And the Vice President once said in Parliament: “We shall defeat Edgar Lungu even in death.”
Is this the Zambia we want to live in fellow citizens?
