RESOLUTE PARTY EXPELS MARTIN PHIRI, TERMINATES HIS MEMBERSHIP AFTER ENDORSING HICHILEMA
The Resolute Party has expelled Dr. Martin Phiri and terminated his membership with immediate effect, citing gross misconduct and disloyalty after accusing him of endorsing President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND ahead of the 13 August 2026 general election.
The decision was communicated in a letter dated 2 August 2026 and signed by Alex Katepu, Interim President and Secretary General of the Resolute Party.
