FINAL BALLOT PAPERS ARRIVE FOR ZAMBIA’S AUGUST ELECTIONS
The final consignment of ballot papers for the 13 August general election has arrived in Zambia.
The delivery completes the transportation of all 387 pallets.
The last batch consisted of 185 pallets.
Electoral Commission of Zambia Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro confirmed the arrival.
He noted that the commission will commence verification of the ballot papers on 31st July, 2026.
A second verification exercise will be conducted at district electoral offices.
This will take place in the presence of stakeholders.
The ballot papers will then be distributed to polling stations.
