On the Diamond TV Breakfast Show, Brian Matambo, Media Director of the Tonse PF Pamodzi Alliance, stated that the NRPUP campaign is gaining traction through genuine public support focusing on issues impacting Zambians.
He refuted claims that the alliance uses transportation to attract crowds at rallies, emphasizing that the attendance is organic, even in changing venues.
Matambo also contrasted this with reports that UPND supporters are brought in from other districts.
He highlighted key NRPUP policy priorities, including a debt-swap for civil servants, enhancing educational quality, and a commitment to social support systems.
He criticized the notion of “free education” amidst overcrowded classrooms and expressed the goal of creating a “pro-poor government.”
Additionally, he affirmed that NRPUP’s presidential candidate, Brian Mundubile, is prepared to debate and would outperform the current President, Hakainde Hichilema, if given the opportunity.
