PRESIDENT HICHILEMA WANTS MUNDUBILE ARRESTED

According to a credible source, Brian Mundubile’s rising prominence has made President Hakainde Hichilema extremely desperate.

He sees Mundubile’s growing momentum not merely as a political challenge, but as an existential threat to his administration.

According to the source, the June intelligence report unmistakably suggests a decisive electoral defeat for President Hichilema, prompting a reaction marked by urgency and strategic maneuvering.

Instead of accepting the shifting political tides, it is said that President Hichilema has resorted to assertive measures intended to curtail Mundubile’s ascent to the presidency.

In a dramatic development, the President summoned the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)—in an effort to uncover any incriminating evidence against Mundubile.

However, the heads of these anti-corruption and enforcement bodies told President Hichilema that there is no evidence implicating Mundubile in corruption – he is as clean as a whistle.

Their determination to speak the truth was met with threats that if President Hichilema loses the elections, they will be sacked because Mundubile would pick his own government personnel.

The source disclosed that the President proposed not outright imprisonment, but the arrest of Mundubile followed by bail under strict conditions, requiring him to report to the DEC every two days.

This strategy is intended to impose legal constraints designed to disrupt Mundubile’s campaign efforts and dampen his growing public support, thereby influencing the upcoming election outcome.

Everyone is waiting to see if the anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies will agree to concoct corruption evidence against Mundubile in order to have him arrested.
