MUNDUBILE MEETS FREEDOM FIGHTERS
Honourable Brian Mundubile, the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate, expressed profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters who secured Zambia’s independence.
He acknowledged their courageous struggle as the foundation and inspiration for the nation’s ongoing journey.
According to Mundubile who met several freedom fighters, their legacy is not merely a historical achievement but a call to action for present and future generations.
Highlighting the significance of the upcoming 13th of August, Mundubile framed the date as a pivotal moment for what he terms Zambia’s “second liberation.”
He urged citizens to embrace their responsibility in this movement, which seeks to restore the fundamental rights and freedoms that he believes have been eroded over time.
Specifically, Mundubile criticized laws such as the Cyber Security Act, which he described as oppressive and detrimental to democratic liberties.
He emphasized the necessity for every Zambian to live without fear and free from legal constraints that stifle expression and participation in governance.
