Ukraine claims drones struck eight Russian fuel tankers in Sea of Azov overnight
Ukraine’s 414th “Madyar’s Birds” Brigade claims its Kairos Battalion carried out a large-scale overnight drone operation targeting Russian logistics in the Sea of Azov.
According to brigade commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Ukrainian drones struck eight Russian fuel tankers, each reportedly measuring around 140 meters in length with a 7,000-ton deadweight capacity. A cargo ship and a ferry were also reported to have been hit.
The brigade said the tankers were transporting gasoline to support Russian forces in occupied Crimea. The strikes were reportedly conducted alongside attacks on 58 military targets, including energy and logistics infrastructure.
Russia has not officially confirmed the reported damage or losses, and the Ukrainian claims have not been independently verified.
