“11KV HIGH VOLTAGE Dr. CHISHIMBA KAMBWILI LIGHTS UP WHOLE ZAMBIA IN MPOROKOSO”, ENDORSES MUNDUBILE NA MAKEBI
Mporokoso district, Northern Province – It was a charged afternoon in Mporokoso today as heavyweight politician Dr. Chishimba Kambwili stormed the district and what supporters are calling “11KV high voltage politics.”
Dr. Kambwili, leader of the National Democratic Congress – NDC, joined NRPUP President Brian Mundubile and Vice President Makebi Zulu for a joint opposition rally that brought the whole town to a standstill.
Addressing a packed crowd, Dr. Kambwili said the time for opposition unity is now if Zambia is to get back on track.
“Ndati muli bengi, twaleta amaka. The people are suffering. That is why today I am here to endorse Brian Mundubile na Makebi Zulu . Tuleya naba nshita shino,” Dr. Kambwili told cheering supporters.
He added that the alliance between NDC and NRPUP sends a clear message that Zambians want leadership that understands their problems on the ground.
Mr. Mundubile thanked Dr. Kambwili for his support, saying the coming together of opposition leaders shows that people are tired of economic hardship.
Mr. Makebi Zulu said the Mporokoso rally is proof that the message of restoration is resonating across the country, from urban centers to rural areas.
Residents who attended the rally described the event as “electric” and said Dr. Kambwili’s presence had “lightened the whole of Zambia” with hope for change.
The joint rally ended peacefully with party leaders pledging to take the campaign to more districts in Northern Province.
