Liswaniso Rallies Western Province To Back UPND Ahead of August Polls
The UPND National Youth Chairman, Gilbert Liswaniso, has called on the people of Nkeyema and Kaoma districts in Western Province to continue supporting President Hakainde Hichilema and the ruling UPND as the country heads towards the August General Election.
Speaking as he commenced his tour of Western Province today, Mr. Liswaniso thanked the people for the overwhelming support they rendered the UPND during the 2021 elections, saying their collective efforts were instrumental in ushering the party into government. He said without the commitment and determination demonstrated by the people of Western Province in 2021, the UPND would not have formed government.
Mr. Liswaniso urged party members and supporters to intensify mobilisation efforts and ensure they turn out in large numbers to vote in August, stating that a decisive victory would guarantee the continuation of the UPND’s developmental programmes across the country.
He said the party remains committed to delivering development to all parts of Zambia and appealed to members to remain united and focused throughout the campaign period.
