POLICE DETAIN MAN OVER ALLEGED REMOVAL OF UPND CAMPAIGN POSTERS

A man has been detained in connection with the alleged removal of campaign posters for President Hakainde Hichilema in Chisankane Ward of Kafue East Constituency.

The suspect was apprehended by members of the public before being handed over to officers at Godfrey Miyanda Police Station in Chalala, where he remains in police custody.

According to preliminary information, the suspect is alleged to have been removing campaign posters for President Hichilema within Kafue East Constituency.

He is also suspected of targeting campaign materials belonging to the UPND’s aspiring Kabwata Member of Parliament Andrew Tayengwa.
