NCHANGA ASPIRING MP RALLIES RESIDENTS TO JOIN PEOPLE-DRIVEN MOVEMENT

Independent aspiring Member of Parliament for Nchanga Constituency, Mulaza Kaira, has called on residents to support a grassroots movement aimed at putting power and decision-making into the hands of ordinary citizens.

Mr. Kaira said his campaign was not merely another political initiative but a movement driven by the people and for the people.

He stated that many residents had grown frustrated with being left behind in development matters and were ready to take a more active role in shaping the future of their constituency.

He said he had stepped forward to seek public office because Nchanga deserved leadership that would remain accountable to the electorate rather than serving other interests.

“Our is not just another campaign, this is a movement for the people, by the people,” Mr. Kaira said.

The aspiring lawmaker urged residents to spread awareness of his campaign by engaging family members, friends and neighbours, sharing campaign materials on social media platforms and attending campaign rallies.

Mr. Kaira also appealed for financial and logistical support, encouraging residents to contribute according to their means and volunteer skills that could help advance the campaign.

“Every kwacha counts. Support the logistics, banners, and transport using Mobile Money: +260 776830034. No amount is too small for a revolution.”

He pledged to promote a culture of accountability in the constituency and said community participation would be central to achieving meaningful development.

“This is our time. Not tomorrow. Not next election. Now,” he said.

Mr. Kaira further called on residents to unite behind the movement, saying collective action would be key to bringing about the change many people were seeking in Nchanga Constituency.
