Brian Mundubile Shows True Leadership and respect for the office he wants to lead.
2017, during the Kuomboka traditional ceremony in Western Province, President Edgar Lungu’s motorcade was passing on the road when opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema failed to give way. This led to an exchange between the two camps which put the life of the Head of State at risk.
Nine years later, the incident almost repeated itself. Today, after leaving the burial of late Paramount Chief Mpezeni, President Brian Mundubile’s convoy was on the road. When they spotted President Hakainde Hichilema’s presidential motorcade, they gave way and allowed it to pass.
This shows the type of leader Brian Mundubile is. He showed maturity and respect for the office he wants to lead. Other leaders would have tried to take revenge, but Brian Mundubile is a man of peace and respect.
