As the Luanshya Tycoon, I feel embarrassed on this slay queen’s behalf. I listened attentively to her narration and almost thought she was applying for a government budget allocation or CDF funding. She seems to expect Brian, a young man trying to survive in this economy, to buy her the whole world. How is that even possible?

This young gold digger must understand that the era of men abandoning common sense just to impress baddies and slay queens with expensive gifts is fading fast. Men are becoming wiser. They now know the difference between genuine affection and a monthly financial obligation disguised as love.

If the biggest crime our young man committed was buying a fake bag, then perhaps the bigger question is why the slay queen’s happiness depended on the authenticity of a handbag in the first place.

Some women do not want serious relationships; they want sponsors with unlimited credit. The moment the gifts stop matching their demands, they suddenly discover “red flags.

Some baddies measure affection using receipts, shopping bags, and money that is not even theirs. The funny part is that some of them live in rented houses and struggle to pay bills they cannot comfortably afford on their own.

I commend Brian. The chap is wise. Money should be spent wisely and on people who genuinely appreciate you. The rest can get fake bags, while our women at home get genuine ones and everything nice and expensive that they deserve. That does not mean a man is broke. Money is hard to find, and when life becomes difficult, most slay queens will not be there to help you carry the burden.

A man who protects his wallet is not stingy, he has simply learned from experience.
