ECZ THREATENING TO BAN BRIAN MUNDUBILE AND MAKEBI ZULU
Mwangala Zaloumis has directed the ECZ Commission to find reasons why the presidential ticket of the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) is sanctioned.
Tonse Alliance Presidential Candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu attended Sunday mass at St. Andrew Kaggwa Parish in Lilanda, located within the Matero Constituency in Lusaka.
Mwangala Zaloumis has directed that the activities on that day involved campaigns outside the set electoral calendar.
But Mundubile and Makebi came from church and were mobbed by parishioners.
And when people in Lilanda recognised their convoy, they were screaming and waving at them.
But Zaloumis says this amounted to political campaigns.
Zaloumis is also angry that during the Requiem Mass for the late Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu, parishioners mobbed and swarmed the duo chanting “we want change” a matter Zaloumis says amounted to inciting political campaigns before she has released a calendar.
