ECZ RELEASES FINAL LIST OF 14 VALIDLY NOMINATED PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced the final list of fourteen (14) presidential candidates who have been validly nominated to contest the forthcoming presidential election.
The candidates and their respective running mates are:
Given Mwenya Chansa and running mate Harrison Chewe – Movement for Economic Emancipation (MEE)
Richard Silumbe and running mate Kaela Kamwenesha – Leadership Movement (LM)
Harry Kalaba and running mate Moses Mawere – Citizens First (CF)
Fred M’membe and running mate Dolika Banda – Socialist Party
Kelvin Fube Bwalya and running mate Milner Katolo – Zambia Must Prosper (ZMP)
Brian Mundubile and running mate Makebi Zulu – National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP)
Howard Kunda and running mate Chipo Miyoba – Zambia Wake Up Party (ZAWAPA)
Brian Mushimba and running mate Andyford Mayele Banda – Organised People’s Party (OPP)
Given Katuta and running mate John Nyirenda – Independent
Xavier Chungu and running mate Gerald Dingiswayo Mwanza – Liberal Democrats Party (LDP)
Hakainde Hichilema and running mate Mutale Nalumango – United Party for National Development (UPND)
Dan Pule and running mate Bert Mushala – Christian Democratic Party (CDP)
Richwell Siamunene and running mate Nicholas Banda – New Focus Party (NFP)
Ackim Antony Njobvu and running mate Mirriam Banda – Democratic Union (DU)
The publication of the final list marks a significant milestone in the electoral process, paving the way for campaigns ahead of polling day.
