Gone but not forgotten, musicians have continued celebrating the life of the late Dandy Krazy.
Legendary Danny Kaya is among the people who have continued celebrating the life of King Dandy.
Sharing his fond memories of the “Chintelelwe” hit maker, Danny Kaya shared when he featured on B Flow TV that Dandy is an example of resilience and never giving up.
“When I started music, that was about the time Dandy was starting. I did my Masiku Onse, I did my Ama Loving, I did my Yakumbuyo, he was still trying to get his feet,” he recalled.
Danny shared that he doubted at some point if King Dandy was ever going to blow up.
“At some point I even thought ah limbi umu guys te sana. In 2007, 2008 somewhere there, yaisalila. From that time, I realized that you see, if you wanna do something, perseverance is key. He is a proper example of never giving up,” he said.
“He pushed and he pushed, he knew that one day, things would work. Probably, some of us would have just ah apa, vakanga. That is the greatest memory I have about him, and how whenever he is in Lusaka he would take time, visit my place.”
Danny also shared that King Dandy would “come home when I was in PHI, he would come home when I was in Chelstone, just sharing ideas. To me, that is the greatest standout, which is if you wanna know what it is to hustle in music, think Dandy.”
