Mumbi Phiri, Jean Chisenga, Celestine Mukandila did not commit any crimes-DPP
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Gilbert Phiri says Patriotic Front members; Hon. Mumbi Phiri, Mambilima MP, Jean Chisenga and Lusaka lawyer, Celestine Mukandila, did not commit any offence during the Kawambwa by-elections campaigns and the Zambia Police have not provided any evidence to support the criminal allegations against them.
This is according to the letters dated; “10th and 13th 🤣🤣January 2025, signed by the DPP written to the Zambia Police Director of Criminal Investigations.
Mumbi Phiri confronted Minister of Green Economy, Mike Mposha, who was apparently engaged in electoral fraud.
Although all witnessed statements have exonerated Mumbi Phiri, the Zambia Police proceeded to arrest her abd have detained her on armed robbery charges,after Mposha complained against her.
